It’s a novel that tells this story through 14 stories. About my life in China, where I lived for 12 years, 

And through those 14 stories and 12 years following a path of freshly arriving in Beijing, at 20 years old, doing modeling jobs, enjoying expat life, meeting funny people, becoming an artist, being poor, and finally, after COVID, becoming Buddhist and crossing the border into Tibet illegally, leaving just after I turned 33 years old. Leaving a land that never was mine, yet it felt like a death. 

It is a novel of immigration, womanhood, Chinese culture, art, and just me.
