Heritage consists of twenty works that explore how background and shade transform the presence of the line. In this series, lines appear, fade, or dissolve depending on their surrounding tonal fields. Sometimes they are absorbed, almost lost; at other times they emerge with unexpected clarity.

The backgrounds are not neutral but fluid, layered surfaces that dictate how the lines can exist within them. This shifting relationship reflects the instability of perception — how identity and memory are always conditioned by their context.

As a constellation, the twenty works create a rhythm of presence and absence, continuity and disruption. Heritage is less about individual images than about a field of relations, where what is seen is inseparable from what holds it.
